A tab under our account profile for warranties and protection plans that we've purchased would be ideal.  The tab should include purchase date, item(s) purchased that day w/ plan or what item that plan is for.  As of right now, I am having a hard time trying to figure out what plans we have active at the moment and for what items.  I can only see orders for up to a year ago and most plans are from 2 to 5 years.  As of right now, I can only see that we purchased 1 plan last year.  I will have to do a lot more digging to find out when it was purchased and what it is for as I could only see it in an excel read out of items purchased last year.

My name is Donna L. Brisco I am the Purchasing Agent at Seafarers Vacation Plan. I  have a suggestion for customer service.  When calling into customer service they have to scoll down to locate the shipping address for  the customer.  The shipping address should be in alphabetical order, this will make the process much easier for cutomer service and the client.  My company has over 20 addresses and it can take up to 3 minutes or more to scoll down and find an address.  I  am sure that techinal support has the capability to set up the address to sort alphabatically . Please take this idea into consideration. I  can be reached at dbrisco@seafarers.org or 301-899-0675x4234 . Thanks

A smartphone app, so I can bring my phone into the supply room and scan bar codes of product I want to reorder for the week and they will go right into my cart and I can place my order on my regular day that I order.
People can bring me the empty box and I can scan it on the spot and keep adding to my order all week when items run low.
My "regular" or "most frequently purchased items" will be listed in a drop down and I can select those if need be and when I am ready to order, I can either order from my phone or go to my computer and finalize my order and submit it when I am ready.
Staples business has this and I would love it if Quill had this option.

Add a link on your main Quill web site to the Quill Ideas web site. You can still have a log in. This would make it easier to submit ideas.

Having a higher number of portable electronic office supplies would really help in theis growing tech age. Offering all types of tablets, iPads, and other devices would really help with bringing offices up to date.

I am always looking for software. I don't want to go shopping all over town or do endless online searching. I would like to be able to purchase software on Quill's site. Educational games for children, production and utilities for work, even security and operating systems. Please consider selling software! Thank you.

A phone with a USB port for a flashdrive. Think about it. A phone design where the headphone jack is on the top left corner, the usb port on the underside next to the port to charge the phone. Possibly team up with Microsoft to have word installed into the phone for quick access to open up files. Or just save important things onto the flash drive so if the phone were to get messed up, it is still backed up. From a student's stand point, it's difficult when I have forgotten that last paragraph on the English paper I was writing and couldn't get to the computer in time. Well, all I would need to have done is taken my flash drive and plug it into my phone and access my paper and finish typing it in time to print in class even.

I know that i can send my used toner cartridges to Quill for re-cycling, but did not know that there was a limit of how many can be returned each month. 10 is a very riduclous number. Some people have printer that don't use large toner cartridges. If your printer is an HP printer, they provide return labels in the box, so these don't get sent back to Quill. Other printers use "baby" cartridges. These take time to build up a good box to send to Quill. Since Quill has this re-cycling program going on, you should be able to accept any and all cartridges your customers can send in to you.
I am pretty sure that most people wait until they have 10 cartridges before they send them in. We recycle printer, fax and copier cartridges at the moment and sometimes we have to send them in as soon as we have a box full.
    Think about it!!!

Our office just updated all ouf our electronics computers phones...ect. I love using quill for our office needs and was hoping to purchase through them but we ended get getting a discount for multiple electronic purchases directly though the manufaturer which was unavalable through quill. I know quill offers occasional promotions such as  puchased said electronic and get free antiviral or support. Ive noticed most support for a office with more that 5 employees is offered by their tech guy such as our buisisness, so it would be completely useless.

It would be great to have an app that I could download which allows me to easily see specials and has access to phone coupons.  I use the phone coupons at a number of other stores (JoAnn, Michael's, etc.)

Will my identity be anonymous on the site?

For added privacy, you will want to pick a unique screen name rather than using your real name. Remember the ideas you post will be seen by any visitor. Read our Privacy Policy to learn how your Quill Ideas account information is handled.

Will my personal information be easily accessed by others?

No. All postings are anonymous and you are only identified by the unique screen name that you have created. Other users will never be able to contact you directly. In certain circumstances, the site moderator may need to contact you through the e-mail address that you provided during account setup.

How are ideas selected for execution?

Online votes and comments are used to help get ideas developed. Ideas that receive the most votes have a higher chance of being considered. Also, an idea may be selected because it appears to have a potential for success.

How do voting and comments work?

As a registered user, you can vote on every idea once.  A voting icon is shown next to the idea. Just click to vote on your favorites. It’s that simple.  Each vote is worth 10 points.  A vote up will add ten points and a vote down will take away 10 points.  The idea’s score can be found beneath the voting icons. The higher the points the more popular the idea is.

Read and make comments on a specific idea by clicking on an idea title.  Comment on ideas as many times as you like. There is no limit.  Comments do not earn an idea points.

Our site moderators will leave comments as well.  These users are identified with a User-added image icon.

Does every idea get a response?

Due to the amount of posts, we won’t be able to respond to every posting. If your idea is moved to the formal review step, you can expect to receive e-mail updates from us.  We will keep you informed if your idea is recommended for implementation and notify you of any status changes.

Do I get recognized if my idea is selected?

If your idea is implemented, we may give you credit on the site, but there is no monetary compensation. Take a look at our Terms and Conditions to learn more.

Is there a moderator on Quill Ideas?

Your ideas and comments are not reviewed before they are posted.  Any postings that violate the Terms of Use will be removed. When appropriate, we will respond to comments in a timely manner.
