I would like to see an automatic yearly renewal on calendars. This way we don't need to hunt down the item #'s every year.

It is very hard to find a product number for printed checks.  If I use the re-order form, it doesn't  have correct numbers for you to use. My phone does not allow "unknown, anonymous and out of area calls to come through.
If the imprint department calls, they don't get through and cancel my order.  I have a payroll business and have
checks for different clients.  How can I re-order with ease?

Make it easier to keep a shopping list of items ordered regularly.  It is too cumbersome now.  Then we could get bigger discounts on the items we order frequently.

Whenever somebody reaches a milestone 10,20,30,40+ year aniversary with Quill, they already get a phone call saying, "Thanks for your business!".. but what about complimentary cookies?   We just a call from Quill just a couple weeks ago, for our 36th anniversary with Quill. Yay! But.. no cookies included. (only an offer to sign up for Quill+)  Okay, What about on our 40th anniversary we get a gift? That would be special!

I recently ordered an expensive printer from Quill.  When i received it, i also received a coupon for $50.00 off $100.00 purchase.  I ordered a chair from Quill, put in the coupon code, the price reflected the $50.00 off but when my credit card was charged i was charged full price.  Come to find out the coupon said not valid on orders within 180 days but the expiration was at the end of June.  That makes no sense.  This is false advertising.  My idea here is HONOR THE COUPONS YOU SEND OUT TO YOUR GOOD CUSTOMERS, IT IS VERY MISLEADING!!!

It would be awesome if the live chat representive responeded to questions faster than 4 minutes between each questions. Many times I've had to have a 30-45 min chat with only 8 things being said. It's not really a live chat that way!

There are items we purchase each month. There should be a way to buy at a set price and have automatic shipping.

while chat box reps are helping you find a product you usually keep browsing the site and its easy to forget they are there so its important to have some kind of DING sound whenever they message you to indicate they have responded and you can click back

Please add a way of deleting a pending order from the list without viewing it. Sometimes we have stores order when they are not allowed to and I would love a way of clearing them out without viewing them.

Well I got an email for feedback, and because I had a recent return which I cahatted & requested the ticket for. The survey asked WHY I didn't do it online, and that brought up somrthing to post here lol
In  my opinion, the invoice section is not user friendly. Some times you're looking for an item, but because we get multiple shipments, you literally have to open and scan through them to find it.
I just opened the chat box, gave them the item #, and they emailed me a return slip. Process took a few minutes, and when you're at work, time is prescious.

In the past two months I have received emails citing available coupons.  When I had questions about them I used the Chat function, only to find that the correspondent didn't know what coupon I was referring to, even when I gave the coupon code and description.  Make sure your Chat respondents have current information to save customers time.  The last instance yesterday required me to send the inquiry to info@quill.com for an answer and a wait for that answer.  Train your Chat people more to have current information.

I'd like to get emailed reminders, something like:

It's been 90 days since you ordered xyz items

I'd like to be able to pick the frequency of reminders because there are certain things I order only a few times a year and I'd like to pre-empt being out of them.  I wouldn't want reminders on items we purchase regularly such as copy paper, sticky notes, etc.

Get rid of the pop up box randomly asking me if I want to chat. If I want to chat I will click the chat button on the top of the page. It is very annoying to have that box pop up while I am trying to view my page.

Recently we placed an order with Quill. After one week of waiting for the last product to arrive, I reached out to customer service becuase my invoice said it would ship seperately. When I called Quill, I was told that the item was "out of stock", it was not on its way, and that we would not be charged for the item. I was never notified that this item was not on the way and if we had known immediately, we could have found another way to purchase the item.

IDEA: If an item that was ordered becomes unavailable, notify the customer. That way they can find another way to purchase the product so their office does not have to wait for the item. I think this would help greatly with customer service. Also, on my invoice I received, under the "sold out product", it states, " *The item above will be shipped and billed separetly" which insunuates that the item is still on the way. I think this is a big lack of communication that needs to be addressed. If I order something, I expect it to show up. If it does become out of stock (this will happen here and there) I expect the company to notify the customer. That is not too much to ask and I think it will clear up a lot of confusion. I was told that Quill does not notify their customers when this happens, they just do not bill for the item. That is not very helpful.

SOLUTION: Please email your customers when a product ordered so they can purchase elsewhere. Also, update the invoices to state "item was out of stock, your account will not be charged". I think this will boost customer service and save a lot of time for the customer and the Quill team.

As a business owner who is invoiced for purchases, I would appreciate receiving ONE invoice per month for all orders. We'd both save paper, postage and time.

Nine days ago I ordered furniture and other small items.  I received e-mails about when to expect the furniture.  However, I never received an email about the other 2 items being out of stock.  So I "chatted" today and found out you do not send confirmation of cancellation or out of stock, but instead the items are on back order.  I was told to order them again.  Wouldn't I receive 2 of the items if I reordered them.  I was told no.  What good is back order, when I'm not informed of it, and I have to reorder them again?  I thought back order meant you would receive the items when they were in stock.  So if I order them again and am not informed that they are out of stock, but on back order, would I get 3 of them when they were in stock?  You need to send an email to the customer informing them if the item is out of stock and clear up the "back order" definition.

Consolidate invoices. It's difficult for us to code each invoice for every separate delivery when one order was made.

How are ideas selected for execution?

Online votes and comments are used to help get ideas developed. Ideas that receive the most votes have a higher chance of being considered. Also, an idea may be selected because it appears to have a potential for success.

How do voting and comments work?

As a registered user, you can vote on every idea once.  A voting icon is shown next to the idea. Just click to vote on your favorites. It’s that simple.  Each vote is worth 10 points.  A vote up will add ten points and a vote down will take away 10 points.  The idea’s score can be found beneath the voting icons. The higher the points the more popular the idea is.

Read and make comments on a specific idea by clicking on an idea title.  Comment on ideas as many times as you like. There is no limit.  Comments do not earn an idea points.

Our site moderators will leave comments as well.  These users are identified with a User-added image icon.

Does every idea get a response?

Due to the amount of posts, we won’t be able to respond to every posting. If your idea is moved to the formal review step, you can expect to receive e-mail updates from us.  We will keep you informed if your idea is recommended for implementation and notify you of any status changes.

Do I get recognized if my idea is selected?
