I am posting here since receiving a 'template' letter from Sergio Pereira taking it personal that we have not ordered for a long time. Since this is the platform noted in the letter to respond to I am letting you know that I no longer am using Quill due to a problem I had when I attempted to return/exchange over $300 in toner cartridges we could no longer use because we had to get a new printer. I didn't realize I had an inventory of a tri-pack that would not fit our new printer.  I was told they were ordered too long ago and company policy would not allow the return/exchange.  I expressed my disappointment since I had used Quill for many years but it fell on deaf ears.

Ink & Toner are a costly burden to many small businesses. It would be nice to see better pricing and discounts on these items. It seems you have to spend so many $$ in purchases to qualify for any type of deal or discount. That means buy at least two or three at a time. We all know toner does not run out all at the same time so the deals at times are not that practical.

I think that Quill should go back to taking ink cartrdiges as returned to them, not as ordered.  I have a business and personal account and would prefer to use the Quill cash on my personal account.  Since I order the bulk of my ink on the business side, I did not get credit for the cartridges when they were sent in on my personal account.  A cartridge is a cartridge...and it for Quill credit, not cash... seems a bit strict.  There is already a 10 per month limit.  I haven't recycled my cartridges here in over 6 months becasue of this....otherwise, I think Quill is great.

I really used to like the program where we could order free postage paid boxes from Quill to ship back all of the used cartridges. It was really convenient. Now without the boxes I'm just sending them back one at a time to HP since that's the free option now.

I often buy toner and ink for my company.  I would like to see a reward program where I could receive free ink/toner after purchasing so many of the items.  I think it would be a good perk for customers.  I also would like to see more budle deals that would include paper, ink and toner.  Due to the fact that we purchase so much ink/ toner, we also have to buy the paper that comes along with it.

I think that it would be a great idea to be able to get credits with Quill for recycling toner cartridges or assist some kind of charitable place that can benefit from the recycled cartridges- it would save waste and would help both the environment and an organization at the same time

Allow more than 10 ink / toner per month at the $2 per cartridge.

I recycle our ink but I hold and send in 10 at a time to maximize the quill cash.  I would like to be able to send in as I fill a box instead of having to hold.

    Thank You.

It seems that the new guidelines for only returning the same number of ink/toner cartridges for recycling that have been purchased in the last 6 months is too restrictive.  I order ALL of the ink & toner cartridges used by our company from Quill.  Just this week when boxing them for return to earn Quill Cash, I had one more than was stated that I had earned the privilege to return.  There is no way to know how long a cartridge will last. It seems unrealistic to follow those restrictions & take advantage of the Quill recycling program.  I am confused since I know all of my cartridges came from Quill.  I would like to see the 6 month rule lifted or extended to at least a year.

Whenever a search is done on Quill.com either with the item # or name of an orignal ink or toner ie TN450, not only would the genuine brother toner come up but also very visibly our Quill version would come up.  Great for promoting our Quill Version and easy for us as reps to compare pricing for the customer and show savings quickly when they enroll in Quill Plus Programs.

Say you bring in 50 empty ink cartridges you get 1 free, keeps them out of the land fill and allows them to be reused and we get a free cartridge for taking the time to keep up with them and bring them in.

I manage the office for a small company. I do not need to buy often because I buy in bulk but would be nice to see some discount for ink when buying that bulk as a $10 off coupon doesn't make the price (you are a bit on the high side from what I find) or the shipping seem justified. It would also be really nice to have a favorites button. This way I can get on and order exactly what I have been rather than looking for it all over. Everyone makes an account and in those setting should be preferences. It makes it much easier to navigate on the site and minimize time spent looking for an item or coupon on what can already be a busy day at the office. This also makese it more personalized, kind of like going to your favorite store or restaurant and the cashier or waitress already knows who you are.

Everytime I send in ink and toner I have to call/live chat to have the amount adjusted because I am always shorted. Quill has always adjusted to the correct amount of quill cash and I am appreciative of that, but I feel like I shouldn't have to make the call EVERY time.

Everytime we send end cartridges we never get the quill cash put to our account.unless you call
I have emailed request for receipt of deliver and no response and you certainly cannot use
the unfriendly Customer History.   It is not worth the hassel to return for no credit
To Help Quill's custmer service  Quill needs to notify customer via email upon receipt of cartridge informing the customer of how much credit will be issued to their account

We have had to update a few printers and I am left with brand new ink cartridges we will no longer use.  It would be nice if Quill would buy them back (even at a discount) or offer Quill Cash.  That would help me keep our stock up to date, save valuable shelf space and get something for the cartridges.  Quill could have a "discount" section for these and offer the savings back to other clients.  Who doesn't need a discount on ink?

I really like the idea of Quill buying back ink and toner.  Sometimes we have ordered to much or a machine has broke and we are left with a huge amount of toner we can't do anything with.

This is a very selfish request, but I'd love it if you could carry Epson HDX ink for surecolor printers. My current supplier is an unethically operated business in NYC and it'd be great to give my business a reputable alternative

How are ideas selected for execution?

Online votes and comments are used to help get ideas developed. Ideas that receive the most votes have a higher chance of being considered. Also, an idea may be selected because it appears to have a potential for success.

How do voting and comments work?

As a registered user, you can vote on every idea once.  A voting icon is shown next to the idea. Just click to vote on your favorites. It’s that simple.  Each vote is worth 10 points.  A vote up will add ten points and a vote down will take away 10 points.  The idea’s score can be found beneath the voting icons. The higher the points the more popular the idea is.

Read and make comments on a specific idea by clicking on an idea title.  Comment on ideas as many times as you like. There is no limit.  Comments do not earn an idea points.

Our site moderators will leave comments as well.  These users are identified with a User-added image icon.

Does every idea get a response?

Due to the amount of posts, we won’t be able to respond to every posting. If your idea is moved to the formal review step, you can expect to receive e-mail updates from us.  We will keep you informed if your idea is recommended for implementation and notify you of any status changes.
