We are an ofice of 2 people.  When we need to order supplies, even when we "need a lot", it almost NEVER is enough to qualify for free gifts or anything.  It would be be great if you offfered something "special" for SMALL offices.

...when you think about the expense of shipping those "free" gifts, along with the fact that while some of the items are quite useful (pots, cookie sheets, etc), might it be better to just have a reward system (such as Quill Cash) to use on future purchases (with no minimum purchase) to avoid helping to create more junk in the long-run.  So much cardboard to recycle and many of the gifts are made with chemical filled plastics, etc.  But if it is free, I would still take it.  Instead, just make the coupons bigger and cut out the gifts, or just lower all the prices to simplify the whole thing!

Please update the system so when I provide a new address it actually sends the merchandise to that address. I have tried to update our physical address for delivery in the system numerous times and every time I get complaints from the delivery company that the address is incorrect because you've reverted to the old address.

When I go to the quill Qpoint bonus page I get the same pop up explaining the process.  I don't think it is nessassary for this pop up to continue.  Is there a way to add a 'do not show me this again' option on such pop ups?  It is just one more thing to click through to get to where I need to be.

It would be great if you could send a reminder of items that we purchase on yearly basis such as calendars, bankers boxes for yearly storage, and tax forms. That would make ordering these items so much easier than trying to search for the items on the website.

Our company has numerous delivery addresses with separate, unique, names.  It would be helpful to be able to sort the delivery addresses by name so that you can go through the list to find the right one quickly.  It would be much easier and faster than having to either look up the address, then do a search, or just look for it in a random list.

Go Mobile and Offer a Referral Program.
With so many of your customers placing orders thru online shopping it could for easier for them ordering with the app and  possibly getting a coupon when they complete their first order or encouraging referrals by rewarding referrers

When I am viewing a product it would be nice to see a list of similar items or items that had been purchased by others of the same type.  This would make it easier to compare with products other people prefer to purchase and reviews would be easier to find on similar items.

Get rid of the pop up box randomly asking me if I want to chat. If I want to chat I will click the chat button on the top of the page. It is very annoying to have that box pop up while I am trying to view my page.

It would be very convenient to me if there were some sort of an icon next to items that I have previously purchased.  And, even better, possibly change the color of the icon dependant on number of times ordered.  I order for a large number of people and it is very time consuming to go back through past orders to find particular items.

It seems like many of your emails offer prizes for toner, but lack in other areas...
consider broadening those opportunities to other areas...

It would be great to have a better description of the free gift options. Many of the gifts only have a picture and title. For example, there is a gift availible now for a 36 piece storage set. I can't tell if the containers are made of plastic or glass. The reorder section is wonderful! I love how easy it is to see what you've ordered in the pst.

    Hello,

I think it would be nice if you could accumulate or rollover your points from order to order. Sometiems I place an oder and the items that are available for free gifts or coupons are not revavent for our office or office staff.

I think it would be a great idea if you could accumulate and rollover the points much likeyou do with a  credit card complany.....that way you can use the points earned when you want to use them.

I was spoiled with being able to use the history of my purchases when I was with Capital Products that you purchased and took over.  I could look back for two years on my purchases in details and could see what I paid for it.  I was promised when we were switched to the Quill site that this would still be the way but have not seen it yet.  Please re program that in your site so we can look back more than just what we last bought.

I worked with Quill before in a different company. When I started my new job and moved up to where I currently am, which puts me in the position to make the office supply orders, I was excited to tell them about Quill because it was always so great. The best part was my Account Manager (Washington) he worked with me and helped me out with pricing of things and had locked in pricing to certain items as well. I was sad to see that when signing up I was not to have an Account Manager unless I guarantee that the company will spend $10k in a years time. How is a person suppose to know this? I fell it is best to give an account manager to those who ask and not with the $10k guarantee. Make it available for the first year and if the company hits the $10k mark, with a little wiggle room, they get to keep the Account Manager. If they do not meet the mark then they do not continue forward with an Account Manager, until they can meet that mark.
Because I am not receiving the deals I had before it has made be waiver a bit if it is really worth sticking with Quill. I know I can get many items for less elsewhere. It was the Account Manager that was the big appeal to getting us signed up at the new company I am with.

If someone is looking to purchase toner, link the coupon for toner to the item at the time that they are browsing your website instead of making the customer look to see if there is a coupon that is tied to the toner before they checkout and submit their order.  Customers like to feel that they are getting a deal.

    Thanks!

There should be more drop down options for Rx pad ordering.  For example, I would like the DEA # field to print, but without the DEA #s so the clinician can write in their own number.  This option is not available.  I have to call each time I want to order my Rx pads without a number and just the blank field.

Will my identity be anonymous on the site?

For added privacy, you will want to pick a unique screen name rather than using your real name. Remember the ideas you post will be seen by any visitor. Read our Privacy Policy to learn how your Quill Ideas account information is handled.

Will my personal information be easily accessed by others?

No. All postings are anonymous and you are only identified by the unique screen name that you have created. Other users will never be able to contact you directly. In certain circumstances, the site moderator may need to contact you through the e-mail address that you provided during account setup.

How are ideas selected for execution?

Online votes and comments are used to help get ideas developed. Ideas that receive the most votes have a higher chance of being considered. Also, an idea may be selected because it appears to have a potential for success.

How do voting and comments work?

As a registered user, you can vote on every idea once.  A voting icon is shown next to the idea. Just click to vote on your favorites. It’s that simple.  Each vote is worth 10 points.  A vote up will add ten points and a vote down will take away 10 points.  The idea’s score can be found beneath the voting icons. The higher the points the more popular the idea is.

Read and make comments on a specific idea by clicking on an idea title.  Comment on ideas as many times as you like. There is no limit.  Comments do not earn an idea points.

Our site moderators will leave comments as well.  These users are identified with a User-added image icon.

Does every idea get a response?

Due to the amount of posts, we won’t be able to respond to every posting. If your idea is moved to the formal review step, you can expect to receive e-mail updates from us.  We will keep you informed if your idea is recommended for implementation and notify you of any status changes.

Do I get recognized if my idea is selected?

If your idea is implemented, we may give you credit on the site, but there is no monetary compensation. Take a look at our Terms and Conditions to learn more.

Is there a moderator on Quill Ideas?

Your ideas and comments are not reviewed before they are posted.  Any postings that violate the Terms of Use will be removed. When appropriate, we will respond to comments in a timely manner. Profanity will not be tolerated. A filter for profanity is in use. Ideas or comments that include profanity will be blocked from posting until the profanity is deleted.
