I would like to put in an item and find out when and how many times I have ordered it.

We pay our bill with a company credit card when the items are purchased.

Last week we had a credit due to something being refunded. There is no way currently for us to apply the credit ourselves to the next order. It didn't automatically get refunded to the card we used to pay. Would be nice if we could just apply it ourselves to the next order we place.

It would be great to be able to see reorders sorted by date (most recent on top).  Also, it would be helpful to see all Orders with the products shown that were purchased by each order.

Instead of multiple invoices by shippment what about a combined invoice onto one document?
Perhaps the shippments could be differentiated with headers.

Allow an Account to be both Taxable and Tax exempt and allow selecting Taxable or Tax exempt on an item-by-item or order-by-order basis.

We've always had a hard time getting everyone on the same account using the same payment method.  We end up with multiple accounts and payment methods for each staff member.  As a non-profit, we miss out on some of our discounts because of this.  Staff just create individual accounts.   On Amazon, I can create a group account and everyone can easily order and pay with the same method.  Quill always has competitive prices, but the younger staff members what a hassle-free way to order and pay and gravitate to Amazon because of this.  I'd like to see a cleaner way to have a group account linked to one method of payment but with unique login credentials.

When an order is split between different shipments, wait until all are shipped and issue ONE invoice!  You will save on paper and customers will not have to track several invoices for each order saving time, paper on their end, etc.

I order for several different offices and would like to see on the order history page the shipping address instead of having to click on each individual order to see which address it's shipped to.

It would be great to receive a notificaiton email when invoices are available. I signed up for paperless to avoid the wait time of having them mailed. But now, I tend to forget to check the site to see if they are available.

I don't like when I place an order with multiple items that I get 3 different invoices.  It is difficult when I print that invoice and post it in our system and days later I get 3 seperate invoices because of different shipping dates.  I pay by credit card and it is a hassle trying to reconcile the invoices.  If I could just get charged the one charge on my total order that would sure make life easier!

Have an easier way to look up past purchases that show the individual product instead of just the invoice number.  More detail for quicker easier look up.  Not just having to guess when something was purchased and then click on each order to try and find what you are looking for to rebuy.

Billing can be confusing.  Whaen I place a large order, I get charged as things ship. Makes it confusing to track on CC statement, espciay when things are missing.  Example -  I orderded MCafe Decaf k cups -  item # 901-24328024.  I did not receive.  I contacted CS through chat & with a phone call.  Quill does NOIT show this item in their system????  But, it is still listed when  I do a search. Would be easier to get charged one amount to compare with email confirmation.

We typically order from Quill via telephone, which means we get a paper bill. It would be great if the bill would come electronically so that we could pay it quicker and not have to wait for it in the mail.

A lot of the small business like, barber shops,  nail salons,  massage salons,  wax salons should be able to have more of an available inventory on Quill to be able to choose from, a lot of the small business owner that have the Quillplus account should be able to have more options to use for their business, and be interactive with their account more often than not.  So I guess a more extensive inventory that also targets small to medium size business that are retail,  wax service, massage service,  hair salon,  etc...  Thank you to every one that likes the idea and can't wait to see what Quill will have available in the near future.

In the interest of providing better service for (extremely) small businesses, Quill could:
    1. provide  a line of credit without requiring three months of $200 in purchases per month in cash first
    2. lower your prices to make them truly competitive with Staples and Amazon.

Some small businesses do not need to purchase such quantities yet and when attempting to establish corporate credit will seek out more favorable companies.

As far as prices and shipping, Amazon Prime allows our company next day shipping on the same products at a lower cost on "cash" purchases as does Staples. Staples is also less than 1 mile from our office and by purchasing our needs online to be picked up at the store it is same day and less cost. It is, however an immediate "cash" purchase.

The advantage of utilizing Quill would be, with a credit account, that we could pay once a month instead of every purchase.

It would be helpful to connect all the past orders from the company, when you registed with a new company email.  For instance, I just started a new compnay, but registed under my eamil.  I cant see what items were purchsed in the past.  Sometimes that is helpful.

Read our Privacy Policy to learn how your Quill Ideas account information is handled.

How are ideas selected for execution?

Online votes and comments are used to help get ideas developed. Ideas that receive the most votes have a higher chance of being considered. Also, an idea may be selected because it appears to have a potential for success.

How do voting and comments work?

As a registered user, you can vote on every idea once.  A voting icon is shown next to the idea. Just click to vote on your favorites. It’s that simple.  Each vote is worth 10 points.  A vote up will add ten points and a vote down will take away 10 points.  The idea’s score can be found beneath the voting icons. The higher the points the more popular the idea is.

Read and make comments on a specific idea by clicking on an idea title.  Comment on ideas as many times as you like. There is no limit.  Comments do not earn an idea points.

Our site moderators will leave comments as well.  These users are identified with a User-added image icon.

Does every idea get a response?

Due to the amount of posts, we won’t be able to respond to every posting. If your idea is moved to the formal review step, you can expect to receive e-mail updates from us.  We will keep you informed if your idea is recommended for implementation and notify you of any status changes.

Do I get recognized if my idea is selected?

If your idea is implemented, we may give you credit on the site, but there is no monetary compensation. Take a look at our Terms and Conditions to learn more.

Is there a moderator on Quill Ideas?

Your ideas and comments are not reviewed before they are posted.  Any postings that violate the Terms of Use will be removed. When appropriate, we will respond to comments in a timely manner.
